Similo was an independent short film directed by MacGregor that explored a future world built upon the remnants of a changing planet. Despite its modest budget, the project was driven by an incredible amount of passion and ambition, resulting in a visually striking piece of science fiction.

My role was to help design a futuristic city constructed atop the melted polar ice caps. As we developed the world, we became interested in spherical forms, domed structures, and rounded architectural language that echoed the design of the vehicles, interiors, and technology seen throughout the film. The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity that felt both futuristic and elegant, while remaining grounded in the practical realities of a civilization adapting to a dramatically altered environment.
